Algemantis is a lush and prosperous city where life is beautiful and enjoyable. The people of Algem make their living from the staking industry and trade with their neighbors in the Astar galaxy.

Even though the world Algem is open to other civilizations, Algemantis remains accessible only to its citizens. The city is governed by a council of selected Algys: the Algyors. During the first millennium of Algem, the council was elected by the founders of the city, the Algaris. As the millennium draws to a close, a new council will be selected.

The inhabitants of Algemantis are amiable and loyal sea creatures. They love to spend time together and share their life experiences and stories. They are also very friendly to other travelers from the Dotsam universe.

The sharks are our moderators and ambassadors. They are constantly busy doing more and more things and shuttling around town. Although the sharks seem very busy — don’t be shy. They are very friendly and will be happy to help you too.

Orcas are our founders. Some of the town’s most stately and unhurried residents. They keep an eye on everything that concerns the town and, if necessary, pass the matter on to the Dragon.

About Algem

Algem is a dApp built on Astar Network and offers two main features: liquid staking and liquid earning. As the name implies, these two solutions enable ASTR holders to remain liquid with their assets while putting them to work.

The liquid staking and liquid earning solutions allow users to accumulate staking rewards and increase their earnings using Algem’s liquid nASTR tokens across Astar’s DeFi ecosystem. In doing so, Algem supports other DeFi protocols by providing liquidity, creating a sustainable and cooperative ecosystem on Astar Network.
