Dear Algem Community,
We extend our gratitude to everyone who participated in the Liquid Farming pre-launch contest. Your enthusiastic involvement and insightful feedback have been invaluable to us.
Your detailed feedback has provided us with a wealth of information, highlighting what works well and what can be improved. We are pleased to announce that we will be implementing some of the most valuable suggestions from the testnet to enhance the user experience and functionality of Liquid Farming.
Here are some suggestions that will be implemented before the launch
“After finishing to add liquidity. The display does not show liquid lETH tokens so that it makes users feel worried, whether the supply made by users in the pool has entered or not” – good suggestion, we will display liquid lETH tokens in the interface.
Proposals related to the liquidation process
“Please add a document or explanation in the “more” feature regarding the risks of liquid farming and how to protect against the risks of liquid farming” – we will add a tooltip with explanation.
“Please bind social media users, if liquidation is to occur then there will be notifications from social media that this has occurred” – excellent suggestion, the team will figure out the best option to notify users.
Several minor proposals
“In the liquid farming test I saw an error in the writing, one of which was WETH, in liquid farming the WETH balance was not tracking, only my ETH was tracking. Thanks”
+
“Please change the writing WETH on liquid farming to ETH because my balance does not show WETH but just shows ETH” – DeFi dApps use WETH instead of ETH, which is why the WETH icon is depicted. In the Liquid Farming smart contract, ETH is wrapped underneath. To avoid confusing users, we will change the icon and label to ETH.
“Please add a bridge option on Algem title, so that people don’t get confused about getting ETH on zkEVM” – a link to a trusted bridge will be added.
What next
As we move forward, we are committed to delivering a secure and robust product. The official launch will take place soon after a comprehensive security audit and an initial promotional campaign. We believe that these steps are essential to ensure the highest standards of quality and security for our users.
Your participation and support are crucial to our success, and we are grateful for your contribution to this important phase of development. Together, we are building something exceptional, and we are excited to share the next steps with you.
Thank you once again for your dedication and valuable input.
Warm regards,
The Algem Team
About Algem
Algem is a decentralized application built on the Astar Network and offers two main features: liquid staking and liquid farming. As their names suggest, these two options let ASTR holders keep their assets liquid while putting them to work. Also, the liquid staking and farming solutions let users use Algem’s liquid nASTR tokens across Astar’s Defi ecosystem to earn staking rewards and make more money. In doing so, Algem supports other Defi protocols by providing liquidity and creating a sustainable and cooperative ecosystem on the Astar Network and Polkadot.
